Mr Andrews began his career in politics in 1999 when he ran for a spot on Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, later serving as a TD from 2002 until taking a break from politics in 2012 and working as the CEO of charity Goal.
The final three seats in the Ireland South constituency of the 2024 European Elections have been filled as Michael McNamara (IND), Kathleen Funchion (SF) and Cynthia Ní Mhurchú (FF) were elected as MEPs.
