A Dublin mother is taking part in the VHI Mini Marathon this weekend on behalf of her daughter, following a “horrific” experience when she was just a few months old.
Dublin City Council is delighted to have 250 participants taking part in this year’s Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon and would like to wish them all the best of luck!
When we last spoke, Louise Kearney had a niggling pain in her knee, and had taken a break from running to train on her bike. She has since purchased new runners, which are helping hugely. Now, rather than her initial hope of running the entire event, she is accepting that she may do a mixture of walking and running this weekend.
