Yay for live performances finding their way back after the pandemic put many of them on hold! It’s fun to think of entertainment possibilities for 2021, and Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma continues its tradition of thinking creatively to hold outdoor shows while we’re still dealing with a worldwide pandemic.
Lyric Theatre this week announced its 2021 season, which will include three outdoor productions at the Myriad Botanical Gardens Water Stage – “Denise Lee: Pressure Makes Diamonds” (March 24-April 3); “Nunsense” (April 21-May 9); and “Master Class” (Sept. 15-Oct. 3). Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School’s Pribil Football Stadium will host “Grease” from June 15-27 in another outdoor performance. And Lyric’s “A Christmas Carol” will close the season by returning to the historic Harn Homestead for the holidays.
