(KWNO)-An Earth Day Cleanup event, coordinated by the Winona Main Street Program, collected nearly 78 gallons of trash from the downtown area. That’s according to Main Street Program Director Ben Strand. He said a team of volunteers walked down 2nd and 3rd Streets in-between Franklin and Johnson Streets. “It was a super successful event,” said Strand. “We had about 30 total volunteers and it was just great to see that kind of turnout from people to help clean up our downtown and to keep it safe and inviting for everybody to come and enjoy.” ....
