Multnomah County’s Preschool for All (PFA) application for the 2024-25 year opened on Tuesday, April 2. Preschool for All seats are free and new seats start in September 2024. Children who will be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024 and who have at least one parent or legal guardian living in Multnomah County are eligible to apply.

UP Govt to Reimburse Fee for Around 55 Lakh Students, 16 Lakh More Than Last Year : Education News

The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to reimburse fees and give scholarships to around 16 lakh more students when compared to the previous session. A total of 55 lakh (approx) students will get reimbursement in this academic year. Last year, 39 lakh students from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, General Category, OBC, and Minority Students were able to get scholarships

ANAHUAC, Texas (AP) — A judge has ruled that a Black high school student’s monthslong punishment by his Texas school district for refusing to change his hairstyle does not violate a new state law prohibiting race-based hair discrimination. Darryl George hasn’t been in his regular classes at his Houston-area high school since Aug. 31 because his school district says he’s violating its policy limiting the length of boys’ hair.
