Community health center coming to Jonesboro Community health center coming to Jonesboro By Monae Stevens | February 7, 2021 at 10:47 PM CST - Updated February 7 at 10:59 PM JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - A community health center will open its doors in Jonesboro, bringing help to those who lack healthcare access. Located downtown on Cherry Avenue, this facility will help by providing multiple specializations, including health, dental, fitness, and health education, all in one building. The center was inspired by Dr. Misee Harris, owner of Children’s Dental Clinic of Jonesboro, while DeAnna Weaver and Dr. David Diffine will help direct the center. The group wanted to open a health center because they see a higher need for access to healthcare for underserved populations and minorities, and the pandemic made that need higher.
