The ever-prolific Brandon Sanderson has published his yearly State of the Sanderson report, revealing huge new details for Mistborn, Elantris, The Stormlight Archive, and the future of the Cosmere.
Ahoy, ye Chickens of Cosmere! It’s time for some invasion action to begin! The trickle that began many weeks ago, with a company of Fused and Regals hiking through the mountains, has become a stream as they actually enter the tunnels this week. And Our Heroes, blithely oblivious, are just going about their lives, looking at ways they can improve their areas of influence. It has that bated-breath aura, know what I mean? Reminder: We’ll be discussing spoilers for the entirety of the series up until now. If you haven’t read ALL of the published entries of the Stormlight Archive (this incl...
Happy Thursday, Cosmere Chickens, and welcome to Chapter Thirty-Five of the Rhythm of War reread… also known as, “in which Lyn gushes at length about how accurate Brandon’s descriptions of sword fighting are.” Sorry not sorry. But no seriously, I hope you’re ready because my storms do I love this chapter! Let’s dive in, shall we? Reminder: We’ll b...
It’s Thursday, my chickens, and you know what that means! Time to dive back into the Rhythm of War reread for a Kaladin chapter. Thankfully this one is a bit of a reprieve from Kal’s depression—he’s actually doing okay here, though a bit melancholy over his friends all leaving. Better than he is for the majority of the book, though. Personally, I find his chapters in this book to be a very hard read. Not because I don’t like them… but because it all hits just a little too close to home. So chapters like this where he’s not
