Eileen Purdy Eileen Ramona Purdy passed away on February 16, 2021. Eileen was born November 19, 1938 in Thief River Falls Minnesota to Norval and Myrtle Swenson. In high school and after graduation she enjoyed working retail and hostessing at local restaurants. She married Robert Purdy Sr. on January 13th 1962 and they had two sons Bobby and Michael. Eileen and Robert ran Purdy Shoe Store in Thief River Falls and Grand Forks. Later they moved to Red Wing and took over Anderson Shoes.
