A PLAN to reopen some of the city's much-loved public buildings in the wake of the lifting of lockdown restrictions has been unveiled. Glasgow Life has outlined the dates it expects more than 90 venues to open, subject to local infection rates and Glasgow being in, or below, level three of the Scottish Government’s Covid-19 protection levels. Booker Prize winner Douglas Stuart and novelists Maggie O’Farrell and Kate Mosse are among those appearing at a book festival which is moving online this year. The Aye Write festival, usually held at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow in March, was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic and postponed this year due to the ongoing restrictions.
