Five Washington Middle School Students Chosen for Opus Choir Festival

The district 5 bowling meet for the 2021 Pepsi Youth Championship hosted by the United States Bowling Congress took place last week at Lancer Lanes in Cedar Rapids and three Washington residents qualified for state. In the under 10 years of age division Kaeden Zear had the top score with a three-game series of 444. He tallied a 160 first game, 123 second, and finished strong with a 161 third. After just missing out on school state for Washington High School earlier in the week, Caleb Zieglowsky got his revenge by advancing in the under 15 division.
