Spanish world championship medallist runner Katir suspended
Spanish runner Mo Katir, a twice world championship medallist, has been provionally suspended in connection with whereabout failures, the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) said on Wednesday. The AIU said that the athlete has been notified, without giving further details. Athletes must give information about their whereabouts to be available for random doping tests, and three such failures lead to suspension and a possible ban of up to two years.
