Callaway legend Daeshun Ruffin transfers to JSU
Former Callaway standout Daeshun Ruffin is coming. He announced on his Instagram account that he is transferring from Ole Miss to Jackson State. The former McDonald's All-American played in 25 career games at Ole Miss. He suffered a series of injuries but still averaged 11 points per game in his career in Oxford. Now the Jackson native returns to his hometown to play for another local legend Mo Wiliams who led JSU to a third place finish in the SWAC in his first season as head coach. A big transfer for Coach Williams bringing Ruffin to Jackson State.
