Micro Drone Race to take place Feb 20 at National Museum USAF > National Museum of the United States Air Force™ > Article Display


Please note the museum’s parking lot is undergoing construction and repaving through the end of April. There should be minimal disruption to visitors. In addition, Springfield Street, the road that leads to the museum’s entrance, is undergoing construction through the beginning of September. Expect lane reductions and some delays. Please follow the signs and instructions provided by the road crews.

On Saturday, February 20 see fast flying micro machines, in this rapid growing sport, as pilots maneuver their drones over, under and around the C-124 and F-82 along the racecourse in the Korean War Gallery. The race will begin at 11 a.m. and will consist of a series of 2-minute heats with four drones in each heat. ....
