The Model Banner is a group that has been in existence in County Wexford for the last two years. Their music has featured heavily on local radio and has earned the band a lot of fans throughout the county. The Model Banner name represents a combination of the counties of origin of the three members: Jim Boyce and Kathleen O'Shea, from the Model County, Wexford, and Tony Durack, from the Banner County, Clare, though now living in Wexford for many years.
