ASU math alumna models high-velocity impact for NASA's DART mission
History was made on Sept. 26 when NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) successfully impacted its asteroid target, the agency’s first attempt to move an asteroid in space. ASU math alumna Wendy Caldwell was part of the team that modeled the high-velocity impact for the mission.
