The Centre's affidavit was filed by Mohammad Nasim Khan, Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Acting on a tipoff, RPF subinspector GS Adle, head constable Mukesh Dudhane and constable Ravindar Khadse raided the home of Raj Mohammad Nasim Khan in Sector 1, Kalamboli. During questioning, Khan admitted booking several e-tickets through his mobile phone and selling them on for a profit of Rs 100- Rs 200.
