The Search and Rescue teams in Arunachal Pradesh recovered five decomposed bodies of the Assam-based labourers who went missing from BRO road, Huri in Arunachal
Assam missing labourers: The IAF chopper, which undertook a search operation on July 23, suspended it due to inclement weather and is waiting for good weather to resume.
Rescue teams found the five decomposed bodies in the dense forest between Huri and Tapa in the last couple of days, Kurung Kumey Deputy Commissioner Nighee Bengia said.
The five Assam labourers were among the 19 missing from a road construction site in Arunachal Pradesh's Kurung Kumey district for a fortnight.
So far 10 out of the 19 construction labourers from Assam, who went missing near the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh's Kurung Kumey District, were traced and rescued.
