Monica Jennings has 22q11.2 deletion syndrome, a genetic disorder caused by a tiny missing piece of her 22nd chromosome. Under Massachusetts’ rules dictating who is eligible for early access to the COVID-19 vaccine, Jennings doesn’t qualify despite a variety of health conditions.
