Resources to stay warm during the frigid weekend in mid-Missouri


COLUMBIA - With temperatures dropping, more warming centers opened in mid-Missouri to provide a shelter from the cold.
In Columbia, the Wabash Bus Station will be open at nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through the evening of Saturday, Feb. 13. 
Columbia s other regular warming centers are:
Activity and Recreation Center: Monday – Friday: 5:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m., Saturday: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sunday: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Boone County Government Center: Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services: Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
There will be no fares on GoCoMo buses all day for residents to ride and stay warm. ....
