MORE Act House of Representatives voted to legalize marijuana. The bill, dubbed the MORE Act, was passed. The MORE Act is expected to fail in Senate because the Senate has its own comprehensive bill on marijuana reform called the Cannabis Administrative and Opportunity Act.
The Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement MORE Act would remove marijuana from the controlled substances list and would remove marijuana-related convictions from people's records, the bill prohibits denying benefits and protections under immigration law.
