The city of Cleveland has filed a nuisance lawsuit against the out-of-state owners of three Shaker Boulevard apartments with significant heating, plumbing, and other problems.

The City of Cleveland’s lawsuit against the landlord of the Residences at Shaker Square apartments has now moved to federal court.
After council member Deborah Gray traveled to New York to press the unresponsive apartment building owners, an owner and two management representatives came to Cleveland this week for an in-person tenant meeting.
The residents, who are tired of poor living conditions in their apartments, are holding a press conference with City Council members Deborah Gray and Blaine Griffin on Feb. 1 at 3 p.m.
