The barn at Morris Farm is filling up with a huge selection of heirloom tomatoes, hardy Maine-grown perennials, vegetable and flower seedlings. Morris Farm opens back up to the public for the plant sale this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The sale features a wide variety of locally-grown perennials. Flowers ready for planting: lady’s mantle, lilies, iris, poppies, lupine, columbine, bee balm, phlox, dahlia, and more. There will be 16 varieties of heirloom tomato seedling available this year, most not available unless you grow them yourself. Morris Farm Trust is a member-supported nonprofit educational farm located at 156 Gardiner Road/Route 27 in Wiscasset. ....
