Doors open at 8:30 a.m. at Morris Farm on Gardiner Road, Wiscasset this Saturday, May 28 for the a nnual plant sale and more, including the drawing for the Name the Donkey Contest at noon! The Farm will also be accepting nonperishable food donations.

The barn at Morris Farm is filling up with a huge selection of heirloom tomatoes, hardy Maine-grown perennials, vegetable and flower seedlings. Morris Farm opens back up to the public for the plant sale this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. The sale features a wide variety of locally-grown perennials. Flowers ready for planting: lady’s mantle, lilies, iris, poppies, lupine, columbine, bee balm, phlox, dahlia, and more. There will be 16 varieties of heirloom tomato seedling available this year, most not available unless you grow them yourself. Morris Farm Trust is a member-supported nonprofit educational farm located at 156 Gardiner Road/Route 27 in Wiscasset.
