Read Article AUBURN Police arrested a juvenile and are seeking a Lewiston man connected to the Thursday night shooting of a local man in the Walmart parking lot. In a media statement, Chief Jason Moen said police responded about 9:20 p.m. to the area of Walmart Superstore on Mount Auburn Avenue where they found a 19-year-old man who had been shot after a physical altercation with someone he knew. He was taken by Auburn Fire and Rescue to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, Moen said. ....
6 hours ago in Local Photo: 560 WGAN Newsradio Police in Auburn say one person has been arrested and another is still at large following a shooting in a Walmart parking lot. Police said a 19-year-old male had been shot in the parking lot outside the Walmart Superstore on Mount Auburn Avenue on Thursday night following an altercation with an acquaintance. He was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. A 16-year-old male from Lewiston was arrested in connection with the shooting, and police are still searching for 19-year-old Sincere George, also of Lewiston. George was last seen fleeing the scene in a black 2005 Chevy Cobalt with Maine license plate 6552XY. He’s considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. ....
