Ray Jefferson Jeff Caplenor, 74, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at his home in Signal Mountain, Tennessee, surrounded by his family.
Jeff was born on March 12, 1946, in Lebanon, Tn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Edwin Caplenor and Ruby Ray (McDaniel) Caplenor. He was a 1964 graduate of Castle Heights Military Academy where he was active in sports. He was captain of the basketball team. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University in 1968. While at TTU, Jeff served as an A.S.B. Senator for two years on the Student Government, as well as President of Kappa Phi Delta, a local fraternity that af?liated with Kappa Sigma National Fraternity.
