A care home in Windsor has teamed up with a local nursery and joined a nationwide campaign to save traditional recipes from being forgotten.

A very special celebrity guest has helped a Windsor care home celebrate its fifth anniversary.

TWO care home residents in Windsor had their wishes granted after they were paid a special visit by a biker group.

Dr Polly Russell Debbie Winwood, Home Manager at Mountbatten Grange, added: “Everyone had a wonderful time learning about each dish from our specially created menu, and reminiscing on their favourite memories of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. “At a time when so many of us are longing to visit our favourite restaurant, we thought we’d treat residents at Mountbatten Grange to enjoy just that. Care home residents and staff at Mountbatten Grange 'get the jab' Team members and residents at a Windsor's Mountbatten Grange care home in Helston Lane have been celebrating after becoming one of the first homes in the area to receive Covid-19 vaccinations for almost all residents and staff.
