A THIRD school within a matter of days has confirmed a new headteacher will take the reins.
West Barns Primary School will welcome Christine Rednall to the role, with a start date yet to be announced.
Currently an education support officer – leadership learning with Midlothian Council, Mrs Rednall will replace Laura Hay, who was moved from acting headteacher at West Barns to depute headteacher at the nearby Dunbar Primary School.
Mrs Rednall was previously depute headteacher of Mayfield Primary School in Midlothian.
The appointment comes on the heels of Musselburgh Grammar School and North Berwick High School confirming new headteachers. ....
