The HC is hearing a contempt petition filed by MSRTC after its workers went on strike in November last year to press their demand that they are being treated differently from the state government employees.
Maharashtra Rajya Kanishtha Vetanshreni ST Kamgar Sanghatana president Ajaykumar Gujar, who announced that his union was withdrawing from the strike, also appealed to all staffers to resume duty by Tuesday.

The strike started on October 28 and intensified from November 9, paralyzing the state-run bus service. The employees are seeking merger of the cash-strapped corporation with the Maharashtra government for better salaries and other resultant benefits.
