Cut off from Lees Valley after the only road was wiped out in the Canterbury floods, farmer Rob Tucker returned by helicopter to discover his home had flooded.

Siblings running in memory of their dad who was killed by a distracted driver
STACY SQUIRES Bex McLean and Darryl Norriss are running the mountain leg of Coast to Coast in memory of their father, Brent Norriss, who was killed by a distracted driver while riding his bike in February 2020. Canterbury grandad Brent Norriss was cycling home from his work in Wellington when he was hit and killed by a driver who was distracted by his cellphone.
