Winter weather advisory in effect for lassen, plumas, and sierra counties from 10 pm wednesday until noon thursday. Up to 4 of snow is possible and Winter Driving conditions are expected above 5000. A fastmoving, but intense storm system will bring wind, rain, and snow to the area through thursday. Wind will be gusty, especially east of the sierra crest through the evening hours. Rain will develop in the sierra and change over to snow below 7000 after sunset, and around the tahoe basin before midnight.
