Developer proposes housing complex near Largo Central Park
LARGO â A Pinellas Park developer is targeting a 15.5-acre site within walking distance of Largo Central Park for a new multifamily housing complex. City commissioners voted 6-1 on April 6 to authorize staff to negotiate a development agreement with Belleair Development LLC for the property at 800 Eighth Ave. SE. Commissioner Michael Smith voted no. The site, which is a mostly vacant field, is directly to the east of Largo Middle School and to the south of Central Park and the Largo Public Library.
