A former Gresham outreach worker who is accused of identity theft and targeting homeless people is facing an additional six charges in Multnomah County, court documents show.
“We are seeing lots of just blatant open use,” one officer said. “It’s kind of changed the dynamic.”
The last two years have brought a surge in fentanyl seizures and overdose deaths in the state of Oregon and Washington.
The warning comes days after two Portland teenagers died of suspected fentanyl overdoses. Both were found with similar counterfeit pills.
