Wood, a retired architect in management and design, had a hand in many of the commercial buildings and remodels in Prineville between 2000 and 2017. Wood is also a volunteer in many aspects of city government and Crook County schools and has remained active before and after retirement. The Wood legacy goes back almost 80 years. Wood s adoptive father, Dr. Elon Wood, arrived in Prineville in 1939. He was a beloved family practitioner until the age of 68 and retired in 1965. ....
