WINTONIANS have probably been wondering why a giant hare has been popping up across the city.
Residents took to social media to share photos of the sculpture, which popped up at different locations over the past few weeks.
It has now been revealed that the hare in question is just one of 30 that will be placed in the city throughout the summer of 2022.
This is thought to be one of the largest outdoor art installations that Winchester has ever seen.
Hares of Hampshire, a Wild in Art event by The Murray Parish Trust, is launching the public trail which will see the brightly painted statues appear from Monday June 16 until Sunday September 4 2022. ....
