According to a report from WSF the Walla Walla lost propulsion on April 15, because the fuel filters were clogged with bacteria and fungus.
Washington State Ferries announced Sept. 18 that the M/V Walla Walla ferry is once again out of service, this time for up to four weeks to replace a damaged propeller.
The M/V Walla Walla will be out of service for "up to four weeks" after divers found damage to one of the ferry's propellers.
