STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Born in West Brighton and raised in Port Richmond, John McBeth is a lifelong Staten Islander and longtime community activist who wants to be the North Shore’s next City Council member.
McBeth, who currently lives in Mariners Harbor, is one of over 12 candidates in the June 22 Democratic primary for the race to replace City Councilwoman Debi Rose, who will be term-limited at the end of the year. ....
