A Melbourne GP clinic will charge more to see a female doctor, leaving some patients outraged.
Maddie, a patient at MyClinic Prahran for several years, told Mary Gearin she finds the decision baffling.
"Everyone was quite horrified by that flyer...if that fee is going back to the female doctors and helping close that gender pay gap, I'm happy to pay it," she told Drive.
"I feel like I'm in a fortunate position - for me it was more concerning people in the community who aren't in the position to pay that gap."
