long time before making landfall. this area doesn't get this kind of rain this often and some areas have seen over 12 inches of rain and a lot of areas five to eight inches. a vast area normally extremely dry and when the ground is that dry it doesn't absorb the water it runs off quickly and that is what we are seeing. there is a lot more rain still to be had across texas and it is slowly moving towards the north. i think we will see repeat scenes like this that you are looking at across areas of oklahoma into arkansas and missouri over the next couple of days, shep. >> i wonder what...
