It was great to get out to Autzen earlier this afternoon to watch Oregon for the first time this season. There were a ton of new players to watch but instead I decided to focus on what was happening on the defensive side of the ball. Now I should preface that watching the defense and evaluating them properly can be a bit tough. While the offense is running drills where quarterbacks are throwing the ball to receivers, the defense was doing drills that didn’t involve a live ball. However I was able to get a few takeaways from the scrimmage.
