Miscreants destroy NSF office in Kohima

Unidentified miscreants vandalized and demolished the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) central office at the Naga Club building in the heart of the state capital Kohima in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

DIMAPUR In a twist to the May 27 incident in Kohima where the office of Naga Students’ Federation and other shops located at Naga Club building were vandalised, the Naga Club (NC) has admitted to the commission of the same, via the police station. The Naga Club in a letter to officer-in-charge, North PS, Kohima, on Sunday under the subject ‘Vexatious FIR dated 27-05-2023 filed by the NSF,’ the Naga Club gave an account of events leading to destruction of the NSF office. Taking exception to the FIR filed by NSF alleging that their office premise and building had been damaged by unknown miscreants, NC claimed that the land on which the NSF office and some adjacent buildings were established, were given to the Naga Club by Kohima village. The NSF and NC had been embroiled in bitter war of words over the buildings for many years.
