The Cabrillo College Governing Board will consider pushing back the discussion on renaming the college until at least 2028 at its meeting on Monday.
After a public comment and discussion period that lasted more than three hours Monday night, the Cabrillo College Board of Trustees voted to delay a decision to choose a new name for the school.
Pending board approval at the Monday meeting, the subcommittee intends to return to the board with a recommended course of action by Nov. 6.
