Each state maintains its own database of vaccinated individuals and the states do not share information, said Donna Skoda, Summit County Public Health Commissioner. Records of the COVID vaccine are within the state where the person was vaccinated, which includes non-Ohioans getting the shot in Ohio and Ohioans getting the vaccine in another state, according to Ohio Department of Health.
