The Napoleon Community Band this year celebrates 35 years of live concert band music for the residents of Henry County. The band had hoped to put on a Christmas concert that reflects how the members feel about the season and love of playing their musical instruments. But, the COVID-19 health pandemic makes that impossible. Instead, the Napoleon Community Band has created a video compilation of its favorite holiday tunes from the past four years. The video can be found on YouTube. The Napoleon Community Band was organized in 1985 by the late Roger King, a retired Napoleon City Schools band director. A number of former high school band musicians and local musicians were contacted about participating in the band and formed the initial core group. ....
