First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova called on political and public figures to join the initiative to publicize the names of Ukrainian citizens who were illegally detained by the Russians in Crimea.
On 2 October, the Russian occupiers took convicted Nariman Dzhelialov (Nariman Celâl), First Deputy of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People and activists Asan Akhtemov and Aziz Akhtemov out of Crimea and transferred them to prisons in the Russian Federation.
