THE Friends of the Yeatman Hospital have been thanked for a £4,000 donation to the Sherborne hospital’s Adult Speech and Language Therapy Service. Natalie Pitman, the team leader in the department, said the funds will make a ‘big difference’ to patients. It will be spent on various things including new flooring, computer equipment, blinds and seating. Chairman of the Friends David Hayes said: “Natalie’s letter expresses more than gratitude, her summary of benefits our funds provides is a tonic for all of my fellow Trustees and all of the Friends of the Yeatman.”
