Mother’s Day weekend brought the school year to a close at Hillsdale College as graduates walked across the stage during the 169th commencement ceremony Saturday afternoon.
Along with 353 undergraduates, 15 students earned a master of arts from the college. One undergraduate from 2020, who couldn’t make it to the July commencement, also walked with the group.
Hillsdale College marked the accomplishments of the class of 2021 with an indoor ceremony at the Biermann Center instead of the East lawn. Hundreds of folding chairs had been positioned facing the stage, equipped with large screens, so graduates and their guests could view the speakers. ....
