Building that houses McCreary's pub sold, but eatery will remain
The downtown Franklin building that houses popular McCreary's Irish Pub and Eatery has sold, but the restaurant will remain. The restaurant building sold to Leah Depriest Elmquist, who told The Tennessean she is happy to house the restaurant as long as the owner wishes. Elmquist, a Franklin native and commercial business owner, said it's important to keep local tenants in the vibrant downtown district.
