Michael was born in Chattanooga, to the late Nathan Baubach Sr. and Virginia Springel Baubach. Michael graduated from Brainerd High School. He worked and retired from TVA of Chattanooga as a Transmission Line Designer for 36 years. He was a highly respected drummer/musician in several local bands.
