Rye NH Harbor Lobster Pound summer food service is saved
RYE — The summer has been saved for the Rye Harbor Lobster Pound, which has received a one-year reprieve from Gov. Chris Sununu to serve lobster and chowder in 2021. The petition came in response to an order from Geno Marconi, the director of the New Hampshire Port Authority. Marconi had told owner Sylvia Cheever that Rye Harbor Lobster Pound could no longer serve food. He said the business had become too big for its location and didn't fit the agreed upon criteria for its location.
