Man from U.S. drowns in Lost Lake
The man's friends tried to rescue him but were not successful. RCMP, Whistler Fire Rescue Service and B.C. Ambulance crews attended the scene and firefighters searched until dark but did not locate the man, Kapler said. An RCMP dive team retrieved the man's body from the lake on Sunday (June 7). The cause of death is unknown, and the incident is under investigation by the RCMP and B.C. Coroners' Service. "From what I understand, there was no alcohol involved in this," RCMP Sgt. Steve Wright said on Monday (June 8). © Copyright Whistler Question
