Before he became one half of the hottest new writing team on Broadway, David Hein lived in Ottawa. The Regina-born actor/musician, who co-wrote the hit Canadian musical, Come From Away, was a teenager when he arrived in the nation s capital with his mother, who had fallen in love with an Ottawa woman (a romance that inspired Hein s first show, My Mother s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding).
